 Problem description

For some unknown reason an HP Ipaq PDA can get into a mode where it does not react to any button (including the power and reset button).
The display only gives the text 'Serial' at the top, the HP logo in the middle and the text 'Rom v 1.08' at the bottom.
This has happened to ipaqs getting exposed to high temperatures (leaving your Ipaq in your car in the sun).

 Bootloader mode

Your Ipaq is in a special bootloader mode. In this mode it is possible to do firmware updates without using activesync.
You can enter this mode manualy by pressing the left two buttons, the power button AND the reset button at the same time.
Be aware that entering this mode will do a hard reset on your Ipaq, loosing all your data!

 How to solve

If your device has entered this mode for some reason you can leave it by pressing the left two buttons and the reset button. After this press the power button to turn your device back on.
